It has finally happened, I at the bright age of 26  am starting to feel old. You may be wondering ‘what is the straw that broke the camel’s back?’ Is it the weird auto-tuned shrilling of a thousand pop stars, which all sound the same to my ear that made me feel old? Or is it the fact that I still don’t understand what the hell is swag?

An affinity for maths?

The power of emotion

A friend of mine who works as an air hostess asked me an odd question during a dinner conversation. ‘Guess what are the three topics air hostesses are trained not to talk about when conversing with passengers on a flight?’. After five minutes of inebriated pondering I was left clueless. The answer, she revealed was ‘Religion, politics and sports’. I contemplated why is it that these three topics incite such animosity between one another? Read more »

By demons be driven

Human beings have pondered about the meaning of life ever since we have existed. What is it that makes us tick the way we do? Is it chemicals and electrical impulses that determine our actions or are we just zombies buying material wealth because MTV told us it will make us happy?

The bump usually being me using my Stress Reduction Kit

Posted in Dubai Poo with tags , , , , on April 25, 2012 by Damn I Stepped In Poo

Dubai is a lively city, with a large populace of tax exempt individuals (yeah right) from different cultures and varying walks of life. For my international readers Dubai is in the Middle East. The United Arab Emirates… we have the largest architectural phallic symbol in the world.

But there is a common foe among us. The ones that cart their little no necked demons around with their heads held up high.

I speak of course of the cursed pram mothers. All of us have suffered their wrath. These post natal depression afflicted harpies strut around with little or no regard for the people surrounding them. Now I know you might be thinking “What does this man know about being a mother?” Read more »

An end to procrastination

It has been more than three months since I typed my last blog post and for that I apologize. Apart from university life taking a hold of me, I had a bit of a problem getting myself to just sit down and write.

Flowchart of my life
